Press ⌘K (Mac) or Ctrl+K (Windows/Linux) from anywhere in the VIP Dashboard to open the palette and start typing.
What Is the Command Palette
The command palette is a keyboard-driven search interface that gives you instant access to pages, tools, and actions across the VIP Dashboard. Type what you need and fuzzy matching surfaces the right result as you type.
When a command requires additional context, like selecting an application or environment, the palette walks you through each step inline with a breadcrumb trail so you always know where you are.
Why It Matters
As the VIP Dashboard grows, the command palette keeps you moving from one tool to the next. Every destination is one shortcut away—logs, environment settings, integrations—so you can stay keyboard-first.
What’s Included
- Instant search: Fuzzy matching across all available commands, with results filtered in real time as you type
- Recently used: Your last-used commands appear at the top when you open the palette, so frequent actions are always one keystroke away
- Guided selection: For commands that require parameters (like choosing an app or environment), the palette walks you through each step with a clear breadcrumb trail
- Keyboard-first navigation: Open with ⌘K / Ctrl+K, navigate with arrow keys, select with Enter, and go back with Escape or Backspace — no mouse required
- Grouped results: Commands are organized by category so you can scan quickly without searching
