Fresh Parse.ly: Campaign Data & UTM Attribution
October 29 @ 12:30 pm - 1:00 pm UTC-4

Not all traffic is created equal — UTM parameters let you connect the dots between your team’s distribution efforts and the content performance they actually drive.
In this session, our host Randolph Riback will cover:
- How Parse.ly‘s five parameters — Campaign, Medium, Source, Content, and Term — map to the Campaigns tab, and why the first three (Campaign, Medium, Source) do most of the heavy lifting
- How to read the Campaigns page: filtering by parameter tile, drilling into a specific campaign’s detail view, and building Campaign Groups to roll up related sources (like every Facebook ad campaign) into one view
- How to separate your own paid vs. organic efforts, and spot campaign data that isn’t yours — since anyone can tag a URL with UTM parameters, including outside newsletters, syndicators, and AI platforms
- How to put campaign data to work: proving a newsletter’s ROI, comparing distribution channels head-to-head, or benchmarking this month’s push against a past promotion
